Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus...A Big Hit At The Arts Festival!
The Beehive Statesmen returned to the Utah Arts Festival this year to help celebrate it's 40th birthday. The Statesmen sang an hour-long concert on Thursday, June 23rd, the first day of the festival. The crowd, swollen by free admission to the festival, was large and appreciative. The Statesmen, led by assistant director Paul Barlow, and by our new director Penny Peschel, presented a reprise of the Spring show. The chorus was bolstered by two quartets, 4th Street and SLiCk City and by emcees Doug Jones and John Close. A great time was had by all! Details about the event can be found at City Weekly.
