The Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus had a great time as usual for the Annual St. Patricks Day parade and activites in Salt Lake City.  It was a beautiful day for the parade singing some great Irish Love Songs.

"My Wild Irish Rose"  "Danny Boy" and Irish Blessing.  The morning started off with a special performance for the dignitaries at 9:30 am ... A great time was had by all!

The Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus made a special Valentine's Day delivery on February 13, 2016 to 3 retirement homes.  The residents of Silverado, The Coventry, and Canyon Creek enjoyed some great Valentine's Day Barbershop Harmony including favorites like " Let Me Call You Sweetheart",  "Heart of My Heart" and  "Hey Good Lookin".  Three quartets, Fourth Street, Gray Matters, and SLick City also contributed to the event.  There were plenty of smiles and even a few tears.  It was busy day... but the sea of smiles made it worth all the effort.

Take a listen...

The Beehive Statesmen Chorus, a local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, recently held their annual installation banquet of the 2016 Board on January 6, 2016 held in Downtown Salt Lake City at City Creek Commons.  Each new officer pledged their commitment to uphold the resonsibilites of their office, to  promote Barbershop Harmony with it's brotherhood, keeping in tradition of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

The Beehive Statesmen,   under the direction of Beth Bruce and Paul Barlow, and augmented by North Front Sound, and our Holiday  Community Chorus guests, sang for an appreciative crowd at Assembly Hall on Temple Square on December 23rd, 2015.  The cold night was warmed by the presence of three quartets, Fourth Street, Gray Matters and SLick City, as well the three choruses.  While beautiful sound was produced all evening, the audience was especially impressed by the power and expanded sound of the mass chorus.
