Season Kick Off Rehearsal For 2020!

If you think you might enjoy the comraderie of men of good character who enjoy each other's company and making beautiful music in the uniquely American barbershop style, then we suggest you visit the Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus.  We rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 at the Sons of Utah Pioneers building, 3301 E Louise Ave, Millcreek.  If you sing in the shower, chances are you would enjoy joining our ranks and having the satisfaction of creating beautiful music even as you serve the community. 

For more than 70 years the Beehive Statesmen have promoted barbershop music, an art form that is uniquely American. Living its motto of 'Service Through Singing', the chorus conducts concerts throughout the region. This past year the chorus provided concerts to 19 senior/assisted living centers in the Salt Lake valley and a variety of other venues. We have found that our visits are welcomed by a population that is often ignored and we greatly enjoy the opportunity to visit with the residents after each concert.  Spring and winter concerts attract hundreds of audience members to hear our seasonally-focused songs and the chorus participates annually in the Temple Square Concert in the Park series in Brigham Park, a Christmas concert in the Temple Square, and joint concerts with other area choruses.  Our music is a wholesome and enjoyable performance suitable for the entire family.
